Hey ladies thanks for all the ideas, ill just have to see how he goes...Hey Laura the only thing that really helped Alex to wee is that his cousin who is around the same age as him (there is only a month between them),was going through toilet training as well,Alex had seen him weeing and ever since then he has just sorta done it,although for the first week or so i kept reminding him every 20mins just by asking him if he needed to do a wee??? having my husband show him did help a little bit but i think it had more to do with his cousin...hope this helps out ;p

My daughter is 2 yrs and 5 months and fully potty trained, except bed time. I had a hard time at first she showed no interest and would just pee all the time. SO gave up a little bit. One night she went to my sister Carrie's and had ro wear big girl undies, and after that she liked going potty. She had a few accident for the first couple days but we've been going on a few months now and no accidents. We never had a problem pooping on the potty, but when she was in diapers she played in it which was a disgusting mess. So I thank God she is done with that!! I tried stickers to help her wanna go, candy and cookies worked well too:) Good luck, it takes alot of patience:)

It took my son 8 months before he figured it out. Rewards worked well (we used M&Ms) as did making him sit on the potty OFTEN. My son seemed scared of pooping (still not sure why) but now he's a champ! Keep your sense of humor and a bottle of Spray N Wash handy. Good luck!

we started him doing EC so he'd go poop on the potty. Ok my reasons were selfish i just didn't want to clean his diaper. I watched his reaction and when he started to make that face or that behavior that he's going to go I grab him and run to the potty. He goes a lot. I make sure i have his potty seat or potty chair so he doesn't feel like he'll fall in. so far so good. I don't change poopy pull-ups often.
