my daughter is almost 2 years old. now, she starts scribbling on a piece of paper using colouring pencils. my question is, is she too young to be starting on using a colouring to explore her creative side, or is she ready?

Not too young at all!! It's never too young to introduce art, IMO!! I have been trying since a year with my son; he is 19 months and just started scribbling....he wants nothing to do with glue though, but loves to squeeze Play-Do in his hands and pull it apart into tiny pieces!!! Also try finger paints...my son wasn't ready the last time we tried, but I plan to try again soon.

My daughter is one and I let her color, she doesn't do too much coloring. She really likes chalk, it is easier for her to color.

I've read that 18 months is the age to introduce coloring. So I would say she is ready! And if she is scribbling already, yes. Let her go at it! =] My son is 13 months old, I tried to get him to color. He's not ready yet. Lol.
