My son will be 2 in a month and a half, he screams everytime we put on training pants or try to put him on his potty. Im wondering if I should put the potty away for a while and try again later or if I should keep trying?

Put the potty away and start when he looks ready. I did the same thing with my son at 2 and 1/2 and he just refused to go to toilet. He is now 3 and we are busy potty training. It is now a week and already he hasn't messed in 2 days. You'll know when he is ready and all children are different so don't rush him.

two is very young to start potty training - but you don't have to put the potty away just leave it hanging about, let him play with it fully dressed and that way he'll get more used to it and once he is ready it'll be more like part of the furniture. also the older they are the more their speach has developed and it's easier to explain what it is you want him to do just don't get stressed and don't worry all children do it in the end.

I've heard boys are much harder to train. They normally don't start till almost 3yrs.
