My 13 month old wakes frequently at night STILL and will not go back to sleep without the breast. I am exhausted! Any advice?

My son did the same thing! He is now 16 months old. I completely weaned him at 14 months. I started off taking away feedings during the day like at nap time and also after nap time. After about 2 weeks of that I started taking away "the boob" at bed time so he was just nursing during the night. Once he got use to that (about a month for him) then he would wake up less. I got it down to once in the middle of the night. And after about a week of that he weaned hiself completely. NOW HE SLEEPS THRU THE NIGHT...YAY!!!

Try getting a sippy that has the nipples that you can change out. I found one at Walmart that has a breat nipple, straw nipple, and spout nipple. I can change them how I want. But that will free up the boobie. Then put a little cereal in it. This will make the baby fuller. I do this to get my youngest to sleep through the night. See if that works. That way you are intergrating a sippy if you haven't already, and getting your child into a habbit to sleep all night long.
