Not that it makes you feel any better but it is a stage. Not sure if you are a stay at home mom or work outside the home. I will try to touch both bases though. If you stay home maybe get her into a day care/play group without you a time or two a week. Also try talking to her like an adult. I know it sounds kinda strange but I have found that works with my kids. They didn't always totally understand but they were aware that something was going to happen. Making your kids aware that there is going to be a chance happening helps alot. Do you like surprises?

If you already work out of the house and she attends daycare then still talk to them about whats happening next ex. we are getting dressed cuz I have to go to work and you have to go to daycare/or whatever you call it. when you are getting her shoes on her tell her again what is going on. Everybody forgets kids do more often than we do, sometimes. So try talkn to her.

try gradual leaving. really short periods so they know you'll come back.

Yeah dad needs to have fun with her and let her know that when mum is gone it can be enjoyable and drop her off at familys houses to play and have fun she will end up enjoying other peoples company and this won't be an issue hopr this helps
