my daughter is almost 15 months and she refuses to drink milk from a sippy cup. I have tried different cups, chocolate, strawberry, warm, cold. I dont want her to not drink milk so i end up breaking down and making her a bottle. she still has about 4 a day =-( I need to be more firm and just give her one in the morning and before bed for now...or just take it away completely/?........HELP?? =-(

Try only putting juice and water in the bottle and only milk in the sippy cup.

May I suggest getting her a traing cup with a silicone top its very similar to a bottle but in the shape of a sippy cup. I know it sounds bad but tell her that it is her bottle now that its a new kind. The transfer her to the reg. sippy cup telling her that is her night cup. Shes a big girl so she needs a big girl cup, it holds more. Shewill never know the diff. Worked for me,hope it works for you!

I understand how you must be feeling, I went through the same thing with my son. Transitioning from the bottle to the cup was. How I broke Anthony of the bottle was I explained to him that bottles are for babies and I took his bottles and I let him watch me throw them in the trash. I offered him a cup and he refused the first few times but I set his cup on the table and said when your ready here is your drink it took him a few days to get used to it. It was especially hard at night because your so tired and the kids just keep crying for that bottle but it doesnt hurt for them to cry a little. Anthony eventually would pick up his cup and drink it, then he would throw it out of his crib but he drank it. So I hope this helps good luck.....
