if you wait until she's older - which i recomened you do - her language skills will have developed enough for you to be able to explain to her what it is she's supposed to be doing. 19 months is very young none of mine have been trained before two and a half at the earliest and one when she was almost three - they all do it in their own time just don't get stressed or worried as that never helps anybody - good luck!

I would think she will. Mind you, mine isn't potty trained yet. She's 2 years, 4 months. She goes thru these phases where I think she wants to start, and then it just goes nowhere. I've been told by several mothers, "Start before 3 and wait until 3 when they are done. Start at 3, done." lol. I'm waiting until at least 2 and a half... good luck though! If she's ready she will! :)
