My son just turned two in May and he hits kicks like no other. It's very frusterating and a hard thing to break! If he doesn't stop he'll get kicked out of day care. He's just mean and it breaks my heart!! I know its just a stage but is there anything I can do to break him of it rather than just let it pass?

Ok. Have you tried putting him somewhere where he away from his toys and you like in a corner or on the stairs and making him stand/sit there for 2 mins. My sister in law does that with her son and seems to work more than telling him off. Or, and this might sound silly and mean but, doing the same to him to show him how much it hurts when he does it, not hard but hard enough to make him think.

well, i try to tell him that its not nice and that he needs to say sorry.

i'm usually always calm about it..unless he kicks me in the face or something and then i tend to raise my voice a little to let him know how bad it was.

alot of people tell me to try to use logic and ask him if he wants other people to be mean to him cuz if hes mean to them they'll be mean back..

it does work when your kid is a 'smart butt' and says yes haha..

so thats a no go..

its just beyond frusterating..and i can't stand it any longer.
