Hello ladies,
now that my daughter is 13 months and looks like she is entering the phase when she starts defending personality, i feel the need for information about toddlers`psychology, behavior management, temper tantrums and other toddler-related info.
Could you share your favorite books or preferred web sites?
Thanks in advance!!

Dr. Sears book is awesome. Also he has a website, http://www.askdrsears.com/html/6/t063300...

I also like this book. It is more about things to do with them. But a busy baby is a happy baby. The Toddler's Busy Book: 365 Creative Games and Activities to Keep Your One and a Half to Three Year-old Busy

Try "Love and Logic"
They have a website with free parenting resources, a facebook page with lots of great advice, and a great book for this "Toddler" age.
Website: www.loveandlogic.com
book "Parenting Magic 6 months - 6 years"

What I REALLY like about the Love and Logic stuff is they are psychologically based, tell you what the toddler is thinking, how the toddler will MOST LIKELY respond to your actions and then gives you suggestions for how to deal with their responses. They give you the techniques, walk you through some typical scenarios (getting ready in the morning, dinner time, bedtime, shopping, tantrums, sharing, etc.) with lots of humor and advice. I am a much better and much happier and much calmer parent because of these techniques.

I also have another group where I get a weekly newsletter from called 1 2 3 Magic! that I enjoy.
