Hi all, I am trying to decide whether or not I should put my daughter (and myself) through the anxiety of having a VCUG done after she had her very first UTI at age 2. The doctors office has told me that any UTI's under the age of 4 is serious enough to warrant having it done, but the info I am reading online seems to say that it is completely normal and not a big deal. (She is a girl, btw, and has just begun potty training over the last several weeks) Anyone have any experience, advice, etc.....???? Thanks so much!

I think it's a little premature to put her though an invasive procedure like that after only 1 UTI.  Continue to reinforce correct wiping and cleaning after going to the bathroom.

She will be OK, My daughter had her fist one around potty training also. Don't let your Doc.office put you or her threw that. I think all Or most girls go threw that, Its growing up. good luck AmyDomaingue
