My daughter is petite, and hates the rear facing car seat. She is a year old now and the Dr said it was ok to turn her around. The weight requirements for the forward facing ones start at 20lbs she is only 18lbs. Does anyone know of a great car seat for me??

The Britax is the best rated / safest carseat on the market (at least as of 3 years ago) . it is more expensive then some other brands.. but i have found them to be wonderful. They are also easy to use, easy to clean and look very comfy. Both my 2 & 4 year old have them since out of their infant carseat. jenn

Aaron was the same way. We got him an Eddie Baurer one, actually from Sam's Club, I don't remember what edition or type, and he loves it. It's one of the convertible ones that will also change into a booster seat too. I check later and get the exact model info for you, if you'd like.

My son is also pretty small, I got a carseat that can face the rear, and front AND it also tilts so when you face her to the front you can lean her back while she is smaller. My son loved facing front, and this way he could enjoy the scenery and still be safe. I believe is is a graco comfort sport. They run about $80 but they will stage with youre daughter so its worth the money.
