My daughter has had a terrible tummy bug which has lasted over a week. We have just turned the corner and started to recover but she has lost her appetite. Any suggestions on what to give her? All she wants to eat is raisins but I would like to give her something savoury and hot.

Thanks for that Stevie she has been seen by a doctor twice to check for dehydration. She seems to be on the mend but has no interest in food. I will give the broth a go. Thanks

give her what she wants and warm milk apple juice and also what we did when my son got his first sickness at 15 months we would give him so broth in his sippy wed let it cool soon and put chicken or beef broth in his sippy for him and it helped sooth him a bit he didnt drink a ton and thats ok it atleast gives him other nutreints and fat cuz there actually will always be fat in broth or we would give him some noodles if he would eat it he didnt really loose his apitite so much as everything else but if you have some broth cubes fallow the directions on them or if you have ramon noodle you can eat the noodles or see if she will and then give her the broth to drink or maybe chicken noodle soup same as romon and see how that goes but even a little is better than nothing and try to get her a dr app asap my son ended up getting meds more commenly used for phnemona (sp) so he either had it or was well on his way to get it and ive heard about alot of i think its called rsv or something this year also but esp if its lasted over a week get her an app in good luck
