We will be moving this week to a different town. My husband has been relocated. I am really nervous on how my daughters are going to transition.

I moved this summer with a 19-month-old. It was really no problem. We stuck to his naptime/bedtime/feeding routine, and it was very easy. Kids thrive on routine.

My husband has been relocated 2 times in the last 3 years. I was pregnant when we moved the 1st time but the last time we had our little girl and then in July of this year we moved from an apartment to a house. We made it a special thing for my oldest especially since I was just about to have my second child. I made a big deal of her new bedroom and even let her help me set things up and move in her room. She did fabulous I hope that you have the same luck

we just moved to a new house last month.. my kids are 3 1/2 and 1 1/2.. I actually thought it was going to be harder than it was.. i told them before we move that we are going to live in a new house.. at first they didnt really like the idea much but when I told them all the same stuff they are used to(bed, toys, cloths dog, cat etc) are going to be at the new house too they accepted it.. when we left the old house we said good bye and they stayed with my sister for the day and when they returned to the new house later in the day their bed and room was all set up.. and that was it no crying they slept fine that night.. and it has been fine ever since.. so hopefully you will have the same luck.. it will be fine.. It is harder at least for me to see another family move into the house we had lived in for 5 years..good luck
