My son doesn't throw fits alot, but when he does the best thing to do is just to ignore them. They are trying to get your attention. My son would realize I wasn't looking at him and he would stand up in front of me just so I would see him. I would look away and after awhile he would finally give up and give me a big hug and sit with me.

Hi Cindy. I have a 15 month old boy that really acts like he's 2 years old.  He's been having them for a while now. But my mother and my doctor both told me to just walk away unless he's going to hurt himself.  So that's what I do.  And they never last that long because of that maybe a min. or so. But good luck .
