I was just rereading what I wrote and I realized that I posted before I send anything about making sure you focus big time on the positive behaviors. If a kid gets the majority of their attention from doing something well, then they learn that to do get attention they should behave. It's hard to do that sometimes, but it will work.

I am a firm believer in time-out and planned ignoring. It can be really hard at times to believe that it's working, but when you're consistant I promise you will see an increase in postive behaviors and a decrease in negative ones. Consistancy is key. It's very frustrating when you're putting the kid in time out for the third time and it's not even 9:00, but I know it's going to work and it's something I can use anywhere.

If any one knows the answer to that I have a 3 year old boy who misbehaves more than he is good and I've tryed everything I know
