My kiddos are 26 months apart. It has been an easy transtition and now that I am potty training my son I won't have them both in diapers for that long :) I think we will space the next one out about the same, if possible!

No age difference is perfect. I am ten years apart from my brother, and we are quite close. I also know siblings who are close in age (1-3 years apart) and who fought constantly while growing up, and didn't necessarily get close as adults. It all depends on their personalities and on how you raise them.
My daughter is almost four, and we still don't have a second on the way, but I am not worried. She will be a great big sister, and will be mature enough to understand the changes that will happen when/if a second child comes along.

My kids r two years apart. We have a free pre-k program here so I made sure he was going to school and i would only have one at home so i can just concentrate on her. He comes home around 3:30 and the house is a wreck. So that is what was good for me. It

all depends on the person if they can handle more then one kid at a time.

My son will be almost 2 1/2 when we have our next one.  My hubby and I think betwen 2-3 years is good.  Any more than 5 yrs is too much (my hubby has a brother 5 years younger, and they aren't very close, but he and his sister are 2 1/2 yrs and they are.  My brother and I are 3 yrs and we are close).

It depends on what you feel you can cope with. My first and second are two and a half years apart. My eldest was toilet trained, eating by himself and even partly dressing himself, he could speak in whole sentences. It was really easy and I had no jelousy. My second and my third are 15 months apart. My second is not two yet so I have two lots of nappies, he doesnt speak very well and he is just starting the terrible two's and is whinning and crying alot. I still find it easy with 3 under 4 because we have an activity for the kids to do every day so they arent just at home plus my mum lives 10 mins away so if I am stressed or need help I just call. It doesnt always go as you plan though. My friend has a son the same age as my eldest and started trying the exact same time as me for my second. She only fell pregnant when I did with my third, it took her 2 years, with no medical problems. So even if you do plan and decide things still might turn out different.

I dont think there is such a thing - I have 8year difference - and its great, my eldest is like a second mum to my baby, but they are only together after school and on weekends. My girlfriend has 18 month differencve between hers - much more wrk for her, little help and more rivalry from her eldest, but then they are together all the time. The most important thing is that you feel comfortabvel and able to have another :-)
