When potty training, how do u get a 2 yr old to poop on the potty?

My 2 yr old does very well with peeing on the potty, but he refuses to poop on the potty. Will he outgrow it? Or do I need to bribe him, and how?

i have the opposite: he wont pee in potty. i guess he can stand a wet diapy, but not a stinky? IDK... i am still working on the pee thing? any ideas? as far as pooping: he did it himself. I noticed him to start to grab himself, so I started to put him on the potty seat, and then he'd go. I made a big deal about it, so now he only goes on the potty. I cant get him to pee in it yet...

they outgrow it-but we had a huge problem with my eldest-she would hold on for a week so she didn't have to go! we used sticker charts and worked out various rewards to get her using the potty-pooing was harder to get on top of than weeing! She's now three and is obsessed with going!
