Hello, I think it depends on if she is showing signs that she is interested in potty training. My daughter just turned two in Feb. and is now potty trained during the day but is still having accidents every now and then at night. We tried to potty train the first time when she was about a year and a half and liked it for the first week and then acted as if she was scared and hated it. We held off for about a month or so and left the little potty in the bathroom so that she could see it and use it if she wanted. And she would always come potty with me. We also tried pull ups in the beggining with no success. We decided to try again with just underwear and she did very well. I just took her every 30 mins or so and looked for signs that she might have to go and she caught on quickly. My advice is to try it out and don't push it if she's not ready or it will be so hard. It's very easy when they are truley ready. I also gave stickers and gummies as rewards when she used the potty in the begining. They also like to pick out underwear. I hope this helped a little. Sorry about writing a novel.

hey my lil girl is 19months old, im already introducing her to the potty, she just sits on it at the moment but believe me its not as easy to even do that.she was scared of it to start with.but i just sat her on it after every nappy change while in the house, she'll sit on it with a book, im not pushing her with it at the moment because she is still very young, but as soon as she can say wee wee or poo poo then I'll push her more.I was told its important to potty train them before three, for when the start nursery, hope this is of some help to you.

Does she seem ready?  Can she pull down her pants and does she show any interest in going on the toilet?  Every child is different so it might be too early and it might not be.  What does she say when you ask her if she wants to go on the potty?  If she says yes then give it a try.  If she doesn't then don't push it but you could ask her every once and awhile to see if she changes her mind
