Why is my 2 year old becoming so attached to me?

Dont get me wrong I love her loving on me but its becoming crazy! I see her and she wants a hug and kiss over and over again(we are at the same daycare), she wants me to constantly hold her instead of going to play like she usually does, and when we get home before I start dinner she wants me to sit and hold her while she is hugging and holding each other. Please help is there any advice out there hope someone can help me:)

My two year old is doing the same thing..my daughter will be 3 in june and she has became so attached to me that she want even want to play with others, she will not leave my side. It has gottin so bad that she want even let her daddy do anything for her. But what me and my husband has talked about and I had just started doing it, is that..One day aweek is to make her and him spend time togeather. I will leave(even though I have to sneak out or she would not let me leave) and go to walmart or something for a few hours and it seem to help. Hope this can help! Iam hoping it will for me. If you get any answers on this please let me know.

Thanx so much for your advice. Tarika yes that is exactly what my little girl is doing. I mean she always played now I cant even get away from her without her on my hip. I will have to try that daddy day thank you both Tarika and Hush Wolf.

mine does too. I get her to do a chore on the kitchen bench while i cook this distracts her like butting the vegies in an empty pot.
I also bad to immplement mummy free time where her dad takes her to get milk and bread, goes to a park without me. she has even said to her dad that he isn't allowed to rest on my shoulder it is hers. I have had to say it is a shared shoulder.

yeah, give her lots of hugs and kisses. One day she will think it's embarrassing and you will miss it!
