What do you do to rejuvenate your 'mommy brain'? Jog, lock the bathroom door and run a bath, read in the car, or go shopping???

I scrapbook, or go to the library and catch up on some magazines, how 'bout you?

I scrapbook, too. Although, I have to wait for him to go to sleep in order to get anything accomplished.

I totally hear ya! I've wanted a craft room for soo long, but we live in a 2bdrm and there just isn't any room for it! :( soo sad! I also tend to be more creative w/my scrapbooking. Like i said, I keep everythig, and this has helped me in my pages... I just wish I could get to it more! My son is a night owl and that makes night time NO GOOD in doing my SBing he's also not much of a nap-er :( I can't wait until he is 5 or so and can do his own scrapbook while I do mine! Unfortunately his brother (whose not here yet) will be 2, so we'll have to wait for that one too, ugh... I keep trying to think of how I could work it out??? Like get a foldup table that I could use, but then I have no room... or I wonder if they make a flat box w/lid that you could set your page in so it can dry... but I'd have to get it somewhere that my youngins won't be able to get too... this is why I've temporarily switched to computer scraping!

Yes there is scrapbooking that's pretty simple even have kits so all you do is add the pics, I tend to do the more creative way so it's way more involved. My son is 2 so there's no way I can do it when he's awake either. Unfortunately I have to do it in our dining room table as well so I have to clean up after. I envy those that have work areas that allow them to just leave everything there as is when they are done for the night... some day LOL

Scrapbooking can be as easy or complicated as you make it! You can do it relatively cheaply or REALLY expensively! I'd first determine the size you want to make your scrapbook and you can find the actual books relatively cheaply... when I'm jonesn for some ideas on scrapbook pages I just do a google search and paroose the internet for some ideas. One thing that has helped me in my scraping adventures is I save EVERYTHING, from the stupid confetti you use to decorate the b-day, baby shower, etc table to the wrapping paper from xmas. Hell I saved my press on nails from my wedding and incorporated them into my scrapbook as well! It looks real neat :) I can take pics and share if you'd like...

I have been thinking about doing the scrapbook thing, but don't know how to get started? I would like to do one big book from the time my son was born up to now(he is 3). I wasn't very good at the baby book thing, which we moved last year and I have no clue where that book is. At least this way he will have something when he get older besides an unfinished baby book

I go to work, use the internet, wake up before the babe, go shopping by myself... depends to the week and what's going on :) I'd love to pull out all my scrapbook stuff, but it would take up the entire dinning room table (which wouldn't matter soo much as it seems to just be extra storage space anyways) but my 3 yr old will get into ALL my stuff and mess everything up :( I haven't been able to scrapbook w/paper since he could move :'( ALthough I do have a program on my computer I can scrapbook with & occassionally I'll do that when I'm craving crafts :)
