We are going to NYC via plane and taking 4 month old son with us. Do you guys have any traveling tips/advice to share? Anything will be helpful, thanks!!

They will let you take a stroller all the way to the plane itself and give it back to you at the end of the flight on pretty much any size of plane even the very small ones. The first time I flew I didn't think to take a stroller and it can get difficult carrying a baby waiting to board the plane.

It might be worth calling the airline to ask if the have a crib you can use on the plane. Some larger aircraft have them that attach to the wall after the plane has taken off, but those seats are allocated on a first come, first served basis so call now. Like I said this only applies to some aircraft.

If you baby has his own seat you can take a car seat on board. If not you can hold him on your lap. Some airlined don't charge to have a baby on your lap and some do.

If you are breastfeeding most airlines are BF friendly, but some are not so check before you fly. You can also take Breast/formular milk in a bottle through depatures but check with the airport to find out what the maximum amount of liquid is allowed. I'm not sure there is a maximum for baby milk, but don't quote me on it. There was when I flew, but I think they have relaxed this rule now.

Take your babies own blanket because the airline doesn't always clean theirs as well as they should and some don't even provide them anymore.

We are travelling by plane next month and I was told to feed the baby during take off and landing to help with ear pressure. I'm going to try it and see if it does the job.
