Is it normal to only feel one twin move?

Cassie - posted on 01/12/2011 ( 3 moms have responded )

I'm 17 weeks and I feel twin B move alot but I realy don't feel twin A should I be worried? The doctor sugested that I would be able to tell who was moving and should keep track of it. I only feel movement on B's side. Are there any symptoms I should watch out for if I lose A? I'm nervous of my next ultrasound I don't want to lose A or B. But I get scared easy I was nervous with my son and he was all by himself :)

Well, first of all, I think you should go to your doctor.
But, It was pretty normal for me, I used to feel one of my baby move a lot more, but everything was perfect on every appointment, now the're almost 8 months and now that I see them, I think it has a lot to do with their own personalities :)

I felt my baby B moving a lot more than baby A. Baby B would kick me in my ribs and it felt like baby A never moved. I got nervous a lot to but every time I went for an ultrasound I would see her moving but would still not feel her. Don't stress out about it as long as you see Baby A moving on the ultrasound and hear the heartbeat everything should be fine. I will tell you that after I gave birth to mine Baby B is the angel and Baby A is my trouble baby. lol I wish you the best of luck and congrats!!
