How is everyone's baby adjusting and how are their older siblings adjusting?

Yeah we ended up giving up on potty training for the time being now too. They got a really bad cold, but they are getting over it so hopefully we'll start up potty training again soon. He's doing much better, turned out he does have a milk allergy, and now he is on Infant Neocate for formula. Still seeing a head specialist though for the issues with his head. I can't believe christmas is only a few weeks away. Yeah especally with three kids this year and my husband was also out of work this summer we had to watch what we spend for them for Christmas.

The twins Birthday is in June, they will be three then, and Logan's first birthday is in July. That's going to be a double whammy lol. Especally since I really don't want to put the three kids birthday together. For one thing it's Logan's first birthday which is special, and I don't think it's fair that the twins should have to share their birthday with their little brother when they already have to share it with each other.

Merry Christmas to you too.

how is logan doing? i hope he's better! and happy birthday to the twins! Are they two yet? I know you said this month right? I am trying to figure out what to do for nicholas and aubree's birthday and that is not until february 10. my husband was out of work from July 3rd-November 18th though so we are trying to work their christmas and birthday expenses together so we dont end up spending a ridiculous amount. i totally gave up on the potty training about a month ago. well...i didnt intend to but with work and annabelle being awake a lot more during the day it just turns out that the last time either of them went was about a month ago. hopefully we will be able to get the going bak soon. i am about to start back at nursing school in april so we will see. let me know how yours come along! Merry Christmas!

I know the feeling. Can't believe it's almost that time of year again! Ayden and Mikaela will be two and a half in december. We're going to work full core on the potty training thing then, and hopefully by the time they are three they will be completely potty trained by the time preschool rolls around. Good luck with potty training. It's been rough being consistent here lately too, because of all the doctor apts we've had with Logan. Though hopefully we've finally figured out what's been wrong with him. The doctor switched him to a special formula and that seems to be working so far we'll see what happens with that. I really don't want to get the prescription of the medicine filled if we don't have to if the formula doesn't work. I'm not sure what percentile Logan is in but he's now 11 pounds 3 ounces and 24 inches long.

Well, right now the twins go to bed at about 7:30 and then I have the evening with Annabelle. They sleep until about 7am so it works perfect for me leaving for work and all. They eat dinner at 6pm then have baths right after that. I always let them pla in the bath for a while bc that is probably their favorite thing. Then I put them n the crib (they both still sleep in he same crib together) and we pray and then play together for about ten minutes then lights out. It's good because it gives me some special time with them while Annabelle is usually taking a nap. After they are down it is usually time to feed annabelle so I do that then I eat dinner then the rest of the evening is just relaxing with my husband and the annabelle. the potty training really hasn't gone anywhere. I was doing really good with it and my nicholas actually pooped and everything in their little potty and they were both doing good and we were being consistent, but then I started back to work 3 weeks ago and my husband (he's been out of work for a couple of months so he has been staying home with the kids) he doesn't do the potty thing so they really haven't been going much at all. I try getting them on it as much as I can but it's just not consistent enough. I am about to quit my job though so I can stay home with them now that my husband is back in work so hopefully we can get the training done and out of the way. Annabelle just had her 2 month apt. yesterday and she is 10lb 8 oz so she has not grown as much as your boy but she is still in the 50 percentile so that is good. she is 24 inches though so she will be a tall little girl! :) She's also started staying awake a lot during the day. I'm glad Logan is doing good. how old are ayden and mikaela? i can't believe it's already time to start getting ready for nicholas and aubree's SECOND Christmas. it's so fun with them getting bigger but it is also so sad.

I know I can't believe that my son ( Logan) is two and a half months old already! Time is certainly flying that's for sure. After our scare at the beginning of the month, in which Logan was in the hospital, things are going a lot better. Thankfully it ended up just being a really bad cold and nothing more serious. He doesn't want to sleep during the day though, but he's eating great. We just had his two month check up and he is 10 lbs 11 ounces and 22 inches long. Ayden and Mikaela just started school one day a week so during those three hours I have some one on one time with Logan, and we have been starting the whole potty training thing too. So far it's at night before they go in the bath, but we're gearing up to start a different routine for the whole potty training thing. They do pretty good with their little brother, though for a little while Mikaela had a pretty bad jealousy streak, but she is much better now she likes to help. Both of the twins love to give him kisses. At the moment we're also trying to work out a new bedtime routine to get the three kids down to bed around the same time at night. How do you guys do bed time?

Annabelle is 5 weeks tomorrow (which is only 2 hours away) so i cant believe that! she has adjusted just fine. She is such a sleeper. i feel like she doesnt eat enough bc all she ever wants to do is sleep but she is a big girl and getting yet bigger so i guess her eating is, in fact, fine. She is getting used to the twins always climbing on her. I try to not let them but they just always wanna kiss her and "pet" her so it is impossible to protect her completely so i am glad she does not seem to mind it. the twins have coped very well. i dont see any jealous tendencies. that could be bc they are used to having to share their time with me anyways though. they just LOVE having her round. they are 19 1/2 months now so we just started potty training yesterday which, as strange as it sounds, has been kinda fun bc when i nurse annabelle, that is my one-on-one ime with her and i enjoy it but their time is always shared it seems, but, as weird as it may sound, their "potty time" has become a little one-on-one time. i sit and read to my daughter (aubree) for about ten minutes at a time while she sits on the potty and then i get my son (nicholas) and do the same for him so i am getting 10 minutes with each of them to just read. we do that once every few hours. I am sure that they will enjoy one day me telling them that our "special one-on-one time" was while they sat on the potty!! :) anyways, the adjustments are going good. unfortunately i am about a month out from having to go back to work so that is going to be very hard for ME to adjust to so i am trying to enjoy this time with them! how are the adjustments going for you?
