bad dreams

Ok, so my husband and I were sitting at dinner and he told me he didn't really want to talk about it, but he needed to. He told me he had a dream about one of our daughters (we have twin girls who are almost 21 months) that when we put them to bed she was bleeding from her side and mouth. He said he didn't know if she was dead or not, we were calling 911 and he woke up. Crazy thing is I too had a dream, where when we went to get them up in the morning, she was motionless, even after my husband picked her up. Once my husband put her close to him she took a breath.
So needless to say, I'm pretty much freaking out. Why did we both have a dream the SAME night, about the same daughter being in distress/sick/etc....?
Anybody have any thoughts on this?

This one is hard to help with. Are they your only children? Did you have complications with this child during pregnancy or after, medically? I have had dreams about my oldest son about him dying and it just breaks my heart. But I have had dreams that have come true. And that really scares me. I had a dream one time about a man in a big vehicle like a van or SUV all I could see was his hands to tell it was a man because they were hairy. And the very next day I woke up I told my mother about the dream and she started to cry because my step dad was in a car accident the night I had the dream. As for the dreams about my son he was a baby in the dreams and he is now 5 so I am not worried any more. Could be you and your husband are having worries about your babies and being good parents especially if they are your first babies. Its not easy being a parent and everyone has their moments when they worry about being good parents. But believe in yourself and believe that God will be with you and your family. God Bless and Good Luck.

You are welcome Michelle. All of the things you mentioned that have been a problem could of been the cause of your dreams.
It is very worrisome to be a parent sometimes but it is also a blessing. When your children are as young as yours they can be allergic to everything that is when the learning process comes in for the parents. Just remember know how many kids you have it will always be a learning process you learn something new with each kid. Enjoy your beautiful children and enjoy life.

Thanks Jeanie so much for your feedback. Our girls are our first daughters. And yes we worry a lot about if we are doing a good job so that was something I had not thought of could have brought on the dreams. Soemthing else was that the day that we had the dreams, she broke out in a little rash when we were outside, also having ear infections and fluid on the ear and she's just not saying as many words as her sister at this point. I'm hoping it was just a mix of emotions we both had from all of these things. They are the world to us of course, and don't know what I would do if anything ever happened to either of them :) Thanks again though, I appreciate your words.
