I recently found out im expecting twins via u/s!!! Me and my husband are very excited!

Well im about 8 weeks along and i havent experienced any real morning sickness yet, which is strange because when i was pregnant with my daughter i was so sick every day from about 7 weeks to 16 weeks.

Just curious if anyone else has had this happen, i always assumed twins would be a lot worse!!

LOL @ Sara. I was the exact same way...eating everything in sight. And YES the heart burn was terrible in the 3rd tri-mester! I was downing 2 bottles of Tums per month! I never experienced heart burn before until I was pregnant with my girls. I have also heard its worst if you are having girls and in my case I had TWO!!! So jealous of the Moms that didn't have morning sickness. Haha! I tried every remedy in sight and nothing worked long term until finally my doc had to medicate me. I tried the motion wrist bands, ginger ale and crackers, lemonade (which actually worked the longest out of everything I tried) etc.

I did find a great remedy for heart burn after getting tired of eating so many Tums. I normally never drank milk but every morning during my pregnancy I drank a chocolate milk and ate a croisant. The milk took care of the heart burn and the bread helped with the nausea.

Never got sick but i did have terrible dizzy spells to the point where I would have to hurry to find a place to sit because it felt like I was about to pass out.

I was sick for the first 16 weeks. Count your blessings. I have had friends that never had morning sickness. Every pregnancy is different. Best Wishes!

I have only had my twins, so I don't have any other pregnancies to compare my experience to, but I never had morning sickness. I had occassional nausea in the beginning, but I never got sick. I think maybe it's God's way of cutting us a little slack since so many other areas are more strenuous. I hope your good luck continues, and congratulations!!

No morning sickness at all either. The same as my singleton. Every pregnancy is different.

congrats on the twins!! i too am 14 weeks pregnant with twins. i NEVER had any morning sickness or throwing up but the heartburn was there. im not a fan of milk but it does help the heartburn and so does taking zantac.. or the other thing that will help ward off any morning sickness is have 5-6 small meals a day about every 2-3 hours i eat something and i think that is what truely helped.. i had the same assumptions that twins would be worse which i was dreading after being pregnant earlier this year and being sicker than hell up until i miscarried the pregnancy.. so be thankful that you dont have it and just realize it may not hit you until your second or even third trimester.. each pregnancy is defferent and it effects you differently.. and yes i have found that as soon as i entered my second trimester that hte dizzyness got pretty bad.. good luck to you !!!

Congrats on the twins!!

My morning sickness started about week 8-9 untill week 12. During that time I was so sick that I puked everything, specially after eating. My doc told me to eat often so I was eating 4 times a day small meals. NOTHING helped me.

After that, I was sick 3 more days around week 13. On 14 weeks now and nothing else happened. Crossing my fingers to continue that way. I have a sonogram tomorrow and hopefully found out the sex of the babies.

Also heard that with girls, sickness is worse.

Jealous about the ones who didn't got sick at all!!!

I had two boys and never got sick. I was a little queasy for a while, but I just keep eating soda crackers slowly all day, and that did the trick. I have heard that girls make more morning sickness than boys. BUT that 3rd trimester heartburn was AWFUL!!! I've never eaten so much Mylanta in my life! I ate like a horse the whole pregnancy anyway, cause you're eating for 3 and lots of eating is supposed to help the babies not be premature. Worked for me - 40 weeks. And I lost all my baby weight during nursing. So I say chow down Mommy!

Congrats on your Twins!!! I am so excited for you!! Be careful what you wish for! Haha! Like you, I found out I was preggers with twins early and I kept asking my sister, friends, and doctor why didn't I have any morning sickeness. In fact I started to worry something was wrong! My sister urged me not to worry and to be careful what I wished for. Booooy was she right! By my 12th or 13th week morning sickness hit me like a ton of bricks and last throughout my entire pregnancy!! I even threw up twice on the delivery table during my c-sections!!! I was medicated (Zolfran) for my sickness and usually it helped but that didn't always save me. After they were born, like clock work, the sickness went away (Thank Goodness!)

If you aren't having any morning sickness that is awesome!! Every woman/pregnancy is different. Some will tell you they had it bad and some will tell you they had none at all.

Best of Luck and please do let us know how you are doing during your pregnancy. Its a wonderful experience and even with all the sickness I wouldn't change anything. Savor every moment!

l had awful morning sickness with my first pregnancy, none with the second, a bit of upset stomach some evenings in the end of the third. The fourth pregnancy was twins and no sickness at all, except terrible heartburn.
You're going to love having twins. We do.

Congrats on your twins! Yup, it happened with me. I didn't have any morning sickness with my twin boys. My morning sickness with my daughter was MUCH worse!
