Can you put your twins to sleep in the same crib?

I have 20 month old twin girls and they still sleep in the same crib. They dont sleep well in separate beds! The way I see it, they shared a womb for 8 months and they are use to it. They enjoy sleeping together. They are about to get big girl beds - thinking it will be one bed with bed rails so they can still sleep together.

hope this helps

Mine shared until about 9 monthes. Then they were too mobile and my boy would always end up on top of his sister. Between waking her up and making her scream and my being afraid he'd smother her (he's a fair amount bigger) I decided to seperate them.

My twin boys slept in the same crib right from birth (hospital had them in the same crib)to about 6 months old when they started rolling over. They were pretty tiny though...Then we put them in separate cribs.

my girls shared a carrycot (bassinet) for 6 weeks then we moved them straight to a cotbed (larger cot that can be made to a toddler bed later) we had it so that each baby had her feet to opposite ends. They remained in this until 11 months when we took the side off, and placed a bed in the same room - they naturally moved to the bed as there was more room, but still slept together (one could have chosen the bed the other the toddler bed? They still share a bed now at three and 4 months. We find it soothes them and they are so close, they have always been excellent sleepers since 6wk old. They even share when we stay away in the caravan (top and tailing) or sleep at grandmas. Yet can sleep independently if they wish to - when they fall out or go for a nap. xx

I'm glad we did it this way, and will continue until my girls are big enough to go into bunks. Would do it the same again!

Our boys slept together until the were seven weeks old. It is recommended if you do this to separate them when they start rolling over. However, in my twin mommies' group, some of the moms waited until theirs were six months or older. These moms wish they had separated sooner since their kids had trouble adjusting to the change.

My girls sleep in the same crib at 10 months but they are pretty small for their age. I place on on one end and the other on the other end. By the the time they are sleep they have met each other half way and are cuddling.

I have 10 week old twin girls. My girls like to scoote alot. So I have them each in a pack in play in my room. When they hit 4 months I am going to put them each in a crib in the nursery.

mine shared a bassinett until 8 weeks old, then a crib until about 6 months old. they had separate cribs and then toddler beds until we bought bunk beds around 2 1/2 yrs. they then shared the bottom bunk until i felt comfortable letting one sleep up top, at about 4 1/2 yrs old. now almost 7 yrs old, they are the closest twins i know!
