When should I transition my twins to a toddler/twin size bed?

It was tough enough to train my single birth kids to stay in their room at night, I can't imagine what it will be like with twins. I would appreciate any advice...

My twin girls are 21 months old and they are still in their own baby beds. When they turn 2, I will try putting them in their toddler bed. I will try them in one bed together see how that goes, if it doesn't work I guess i will have to put them in seperate rooms. Hum. Right now one of them goes to bed right away but the other cries for a little while before she goes to bed. Only time will tell, I hope it is easy. LOL. The twins is my only kids I have so I can't compare to nothing but I figured 2 years old is old enough to try it out.

My boys are turning 2 the end of this month. I moved them from cribs to toddler beds in Oct 2009. It has been rough. My 5 yr old sleeps in a bunk bed, so after he gets past the noise, he isnt bothered by them. I will admit, when they are tired, I dont have a problem. Binkies, sippys of water and they are quiet and out in less then 10. Other nights, they are up and playing for 2-3 hours after bedtime. Sometimes I will go in to get them up in the morning and they are both in the same bed. Expect the same from your twins as any single kids, it will be rough, and probably take longer to train them. They can get to each other easier and they will bug and play with each other. It will not be easy no matter what. Good Luck!

My twins just turned 2 a month ago and I have ordered there beds. They have slept in separate cots for long time now (since they started moving in their cots) but in same room. Will be keeping them in room together with separate beds. Not sure how things will go though. Time will tell.

We put our girls in their own beds when they were 2, they shared a crib and I had a hard time seperating them. They do very well in their own beds, however i do get up and check on them occassionally and they are in the bed with each other
