12year old son on the autistic spectrum going through puberty;((((

Hi,
I am just deciding wether to put my son on risperidone ? He is getting very angry and unable to control himself. I have up to now avoided all meds.My son is also advanced in puberty and I feel this is what has caused the changes in my son. I would love to hear from anyone who has been In a similar situation.
