Teen boot camp that is for troubled teens. It will straighten him up so fast it's not even funny. He is still your child matter how old they get you can't give up on him try to put him in teen boot camp it's kind of like military but for teens. Yes he's going to tell you I hate you. But that's okay when my kids say I hate you I say yes that means I no they love me. Look it up do some research trust me it will work. Since he stole money from your boyfriend and you, you can just take something from him like for example you could take his TV his Xbox or whatever Place station he has take all the stuff CD clean him out even take his dresser take the bed the only think you'll have left is mattress on the floor one blanket one pillow and 5 outfits for the week then he'll think twice. Don't forget Teen boot camp send him there give him another chance.

ev and sarah, not what i said at all. she is considering throwing out a minor, which is unlawful & so sad that a parent would kick out their own flesh and blood. if she doesent want him in her house that bad then there are group homes for troubled teens. he could stay with a friend even.

I feel sorry for the OP's children. Parenting takes a lot of commitment and yes, a lot of tears. It is the most thankless job in the world but also the most rewarding when you know you have raised amazing young adults.
If you can't commit to guiding your children in the right direction then you really shouldn't have children but dumping a troublesome 17yo on someone else isn't helping anyone. I also find it very sad that a parent can even think about kicking their own minor child out of home.
My suggestion to the OP is get some help. Find out why he is behaving this way and modify your parenting to help him. You don't just give up on your children.

So what have the consequences been so far?
A child doesn't get to 17 and start acting like this, it starts much younger.
How is he stealing money out of a bank account? It's pretty hard to do unless he knows internet banking passwords or knows the PIN for the card.
