2 month old going days without bowel movement, is it normal ?

my daughter is 2 months old and in the last week or so she hasnt been having bowel movements for days at a time, she still has about 6+ wet diapers but i am just wonderng if it is normal for her to go days without a bowel movement? i am breastfeeding so im not sure if that makes a difference

Yes perfectly normal for a breastfed baby. Just stand by for the nappy explosion when it comes!

Yes it's completely normal for a breastfed baby to go a couple weeks without a bowel movement. My daughter did the same thing at that age and I was worried she was constipated but I was informed that its normal for breastfed babies and if shes not in any pain then not to be concerned. And if your still worried you could try giving her a sip or two of prune juice.

completely normal! as long as she does not seem uncomfortable, she is fine. pretty much everything in breastmilk gets used by the body so there is very little that gets turned into waste.

right before my son started solids, he was only pooping once every 6 or 7 days! enjoy it :)
