Hi , I have a step daughter name Saphyre . She can say her name , tell me when her baby brother spit up , popped or anything. She tells me when the movie is off , when she wants it back on , she can put her socks and shoes on . She can get her own water out the faucet . But she REFUSES to learn her abcs and her colors . She will just say " color , color " I get really frustrated because shes smart . But we also have to share her with her mom. And her mom only had her to keep the dad around so she really doesn't care about teaching her anything. Shes not even potty trained anymore because her mom put her in a diaper when we had her potty trained . Im rambling and im sorry I just need HELP!!!
PLEASEEE.

Thank you , I think ill try to talk to her but if she don't care I can't make her , ill just have to do what you said and let her learn at her own pace but still trying to teach her

It's really hard on kids coming from a split home when the parents can't be on the same page. Other than staying consistent and patient in your home... there really isn't anything else you CAN do. She will learn at her own pace.
