I've been off of birth control for over a year. My boyfriend and I have been trying to have a baby. I have a 3 almost 4 year old so I figure...hey! Time to get to work! My periods have been regular for a while except it started to get weird in feb. I was 2 weeks late but then my period came. Well...When march came...I started my period 2 weeks early. I wasnt due for it until around march 26 or 27 but instead I started on the 13th of march. It is almost may now and I still have not started my period. I took a hpt and it came out negative...I have not been under any stress nor have I been ill so I have no idea why I am so late but the hpt is coming out negative. Wouldn't there be enough hcg for the test to detect if I am that late?! Please help!

My last time I bled, It lasted like a normal period but was just early. I noticed a small amount of spotting the other day and I just took another htp this morning which also came out negative. I have no morning sickness and hardly any symptoms. The only symptom I really feel is a bit of fatigue and a bit more frequent urination. I'm wondering if it is the opposite and I'm not as far along as I thought because if I had a high enough hcg...wouldn't it show up on the hpt?

If you want to know for certain, you'll have to go for blood tests. Could it be possible that you are further along than you think and your last period was actually pregnancy bleeding? If that is the case, the htp will not work.
All the best either way!
