Hi there! I am a seasoned mother of four and can tell you every baby is different. Some won't sleep through the night until 2yrs. don't be discouraged there are some things you can do. It is my experience that little one's have difficulty sleeping when they are experiencing ear discomfort. Whether they are having itchy ears, or ear pain it can case much discomfort to them. Teething can also cause ear discomfort. My go to remedy for baby is Soothe My Ears by Balance Becomes You, they are all natural. The effects of the essential oils are calming for baby as well. Put the ear drops in the ear and let them sit for a few minutes then put the cotton in and do the other ear. Soothe My Ears also works great as a vapor rub and I put a little on the glands under the ear too. You can also place them on the bottom of the feet and then put socks on. They really are amazing, I refer to them as my cure all. You can order them on Amazon. Hope this helps

You may not like it but it should work :) My daughter was very fussy. She was exhausted and wouldn't sleep. After looking at everything I did the Cry It Out Method. I know some are against it saying it causes damage. But if that were the case none of us would have a brain when I think of all the times I've cried in my life LOL.

At 6 months I had her in the room with me. Laid her down ( made sure she was fed, and changed) told her mommy was here and laid her down. She had a fit and cried for an hour but I never picked her up. Just pat her back told her it was OK. She fell asleep and slept the whole night.

Next night I did the same thing expecting another battle. She cried for 10 minutes then silence. I was totally shocked. I looked at her and her eyes were open but nothing. 5 minutes later? Out light a light :) And I put her to bed at 8 pm every night since then and she slept through the night.

Each baby is different but most parents can't wait it out. If your baby cried longer than an hour or so then I'd say maybe they are not ready. I would research first. But if I didn't see it with my own eyes I would not have been a believer. I told my friend who was having the same issues. She tried it and same thing. She thanked me forever.

So it's just a thought and I already know that many people may not agree but I'm the one with a baby who slept through the night and went to bed like clock work at 8 pm. She woke up happy and rested and so did I :) Hope that helps.
