7th birth and 7th child and it's complicated

Hello there moms😊
I have six awesome children 1,3,5,6,8,9 and a great husband. We are now pregnant with our final baby. I was hospitalized for about a week when I was two months due to large pulmonary embolisms found in my lungs. The docs prescribed me Lovenox which is a blood thinner that must be injected every 12 hours in my stomach or thigh...can't say that has been easy but I know it has to be done. Well the big problem is I have a history of severe bleeding after my deliveries...so the docs are saying without the blood thinner I could risk of dropping dead at anytime but with them I could bleed to death on the delivery table...and a c-sec would complicate things even more...so everything is basically up in the air at this point...gratefully I'm 36 weeks now I'm feeling fine but just a bit worried about how things could turn out...any suggestions out there

Congratulations on your baby! At the same time, I am so sorry you are going through this. I just wanted to send you some positive vibes.

Talk to your husband, then talk to the doctors to hear their strategy(-ies). My take would be that they will probably ask for blood to help replace any blood that you might lose too quickly, in which case you might want to ask family members who are a blood match to you to donate. What did they do when you bled so much after each of your previous pregnancies?

At the same time, beyond that, just enjoy the rest of your pregnancy and try to let the doctors handle it.

Good luck!
