Any advice on how to stop him from pooping in his pants. And the funny part is that he doesnt do it everyday. Maybe twice a month.

Well, maybe he is just having accidents if it is only twice a month. Get him on a schedule for when he needs to try and go. Chances are it is embarrassing to him.
