My son is 9 yrs. old, he is insisting us to hv a small sister. I was recently talking about having 2nd child, but I am already 35, and I am afraid with my son already being 9, they won't be close. I don't want to raise 2 only children, I would want them to be close siblings......any advice or similiar situations?

FYI, my sister and I are ten years apart, and we are very close as adults.

Well, at this point you cannot make them any closer in age unless you adopt. If you want a second child go for it, but do not do it for demands of a young child. That is not a reason to have another kid. They certainly can be close, it is all about how you raise them. Good luck on your decision.
