Hi beautiful moms! I have 7 years old son who has been diagnosed ADHD by physiologist. He is in Grade 2 of private school and he is struggling to keep up with his school lessons. the passing point is 60 and he never reaches it getting smth around 50:(. He is hyperactive, all the time moving, jumping, playing and not interested in lessons. He has a very good brain, very clever but when it comes to learning he push backs and doesnt want to learn. We are thinking of taking him to physiologist in London in Great Ormond street and get medication prescribed, as doctors say that special medication is calming those kinds down and make them more concentrated. Anybody went through it? Is anybody using medication? if yes, do you see changes?
Thanks

Hi! I have an 8 year old with ADHD. He was diagnosed in Kindergarten. He is just like your son. He has been on medication since and it has helped him SO MUCH in school. I highly recommend it. It will take some time to figure out the kind of medication and dosage, but it will be worth it. I was afraid of medication at first but 3 years later I see how he is and it is wonderful! My son loves it because he says he doesn't feel different from the rest of the kids anymore and it helps him stay focused not only in school but on his behavior and reactions to people as well which helps him make new friends. :) I wish you the best on your journey!

PS: If you ever need to vent, or talk, or anything about this journey, I am here! It can be tough sometimes :) ♥
