I have just started giving my daughter formula for two of her feeds during the day, she has been breast fed for the last 8months, however shes getting aggitated during the feed and has started throwing up alot immediatly after. Does this sound like an allerfy to the formula and if so what do i do

If you try the other suggestions the mothers have made and it doesn't work, you need to take her to the doctor. She may be allergic to the formula, or be lactos intolerant. My cousins baby girl was the same way, and now she can't even drink milk without getting sick or agitated. Hope this helps.

My oldest was the same way. He spit-up SOO much with formula. Try burping her after every 1/2 oz. I know that sounds extreme but she may just be taking in too much air. If that doesn't help, try switching formulas. However, the mixture is a wonderful idea, as well! GOOD LUCK!

I agree you have to mix the formula with the breast milk. It is the same way when it is time to put a baby on cows milk. What I did was mix one ounce of milk to six ounces of formula. Every week after that i went up on the milk and down on the formula by one ounce until my babies were completely one milk. It helps their lil stomachs adjust. I would think that it would work the same with breast milk and formula. good luck

Try changing formula brands or mix it with breast milk to ease her into formula.
