I love most of my kids' friends, but there are several that seem to visit for days and days on end. Their parents apparently don't care (one less mouth to feed for them?) so my kids adopt them like stray animals! How do I put my foot down without hurting their friends' feelings? I love the heck out of them, but with my book sales not going too well, and my husband being the only income right now, we are barely making ends meet as it is!

You need to contact the parents and tell them that you love it that your kids and theirs play so well and want to spend time together but you can not be expected to feed their kids all the time. Ask and see if your kids can go hang there instead sometimes.
