Babies moods during teething

Is it ok for babies to shun food when their teeth are appearing?
What are some of the DOs and DON'Ts to make them eat?

My baby is not eating enough. The quantity of food that he consumes daily reduced with the appearance of his tooth. He cries when he sees food. I have introduced new recipes but to no avail.

Have you ever had a toothache? Did you want to eat?

Yes, babies get fussy when teething, because it HURTS. Not to mention, it's confusing...they don't understand. Their appetites go off, they'll have horrible diapers and rashes, temperatures...

They get through it. Keep plenty of cool/cold soothers on hand. Soon enough those new teeth will be eating everything they come across!

Hang in there, mom!
