Hello ladies,

My baby is 8 months and having high levels of constipation. Though she drinks lots of water through out the day. Anyone got something to share with me

You can try upping her fruits and veggies, back off on cheese (she she eats any). Is she drinking formula with iron? That can can very constipating. I would check with her doctor before giving any type of fiber therapy or laxative. Try putting 1/2 oz of prune juice in 4 oz of water, warm it up just a little. It seems to work better that way. Also you can try to help her by laying her on her back and bicycling her legs, and tuck the knees gently up to her chest and then straighten them out. I used to sing and make a game of it. Moving her little legs can help her move the stool along in her colon.
