My baby completed 10 months this month, she still has no teeth and has not started walking....have heard u mums say that some of thier kids have upto 4 tooth and babies have started walking too.
Was just concerned if my baby was slow
However she is cruising the house holding on things and walking
Just curious so the question

Slow!!??? She is only 10 months.
My daughter didn't get her first tooth until she was 10 months and most kids don't walk until after 1.
Slow down, your child will go at their own pace :)

My daughter is now 2 years 3 months and she did not start to walk until she was 14 months. There was no inbetween with her she just got up and walked the whole length of the room and from that time on she has walked ever since. Also her first teeth did not appear until she was 13 months old and then they came through in 4s.

Now at 2 years 3 months she is a chatter box and is fully toilet trained. So no your child is not slow she is developing at her own rate.

Relax! Your baby is growing at her own pace. Babies achieve milestones in a "range"--meaning that some develop sooner, others later, with most reaching those milestones at an average age. Your daughter seems to be on target for development of her walking skills as most babies learn to walk at around a year in age. Same with the tooth development--she seems to be on track. So encourage her progress but don't worry too much, she will get it!

my son cousin is 17 months and she didn't get her first tooth through untill she was about 14 months and wasn't crawling, but now she is moving around and is fine i wouldn't worrie you said she is cruising so she will walk and some one told me one that the later the teeth come through the better they are, but no your child is not slow she is just develiping at her own pace, i know it's hard some times to not compere your child to your friends epecially when you see or hear them say my son is dong this or my daughter is walking at 8 months which starts you thinking well should my child be doing that, but you have to remember that every child is diffrent and every child will reach those mile stones in his or her own time.

My kid is 1 and just started walking, most kids walk between 1 and 18 months.

I agree with Katherine. There's no point comparing your child to other children, they all develop at their own pace. My daughter was standing on her own and cruising around at 10 months as well but didn't walk properly on her own until about 12.5 months. My daughter also didn't start getting teeth until around 10 months. She's 17 months now and still only has 6 teeth!

When your child is 5 and going off to Kindergarten does it really matter that she walked at X months and talked at X months? No! Enjoy your baby while she's a baby :)
