My 10 month old daughter has been waking up in the middle of the night this past couple of nights crying I try comforting her, feeding her but nothing works. Has anyone been through this? What could be wrong? Helpp (first time mom) she already has 6 teeth & she never acted like this when those were coming in.
Could it be an ear infection ???

It's probably her teeth bother her. When my daughter was teething she was fine during the day but at night she was waking every 30 minutes to an hour, it got so bad that we took her to the doctor because we thought she might have an ear infection. A couple days after that doctors appointment her first tooth came through and she went back to sleeping through the night.

There could be nothing wrong. My son cried at night from the time he was born until almost two years old. Sometimes he was hungry, sometime he needed to shift but couldn't, and sometimes he missed the close contact with me. When I kept him in the bed with me, he was usually fine. But at 10 months, your daughter might also be teething, and though there may not be any teeth visible, it could still be hurting her and making her uncomfortable. Try teething tablets to help calm her and something hard to chew on so she can "scratch" the area. It could also be she's having dreams about a loud noise that scared her during the day, and then it becomes a dream she doesn't understand, but still scares her. The best you can do is try not to get angry and do your best at comforting. Good luck.
