My 3yr old son will be turning 4yrs only three weeks before my youngest son turns 1yr. I can't decide wether to have 2 seperate parties or have them together. I don't want to cheat my oldest, but for covenience 1 party would be better. Any suggestions?

I would say go for the 1 party. It just depends on what you're doing with whom. He can still invite any friends and help pick out decorations that he likes, but in my eyes its hard enough to get people together for one occassion let alone two. As long as he's still involved, gets presents, and has his own cake with his own candles to blow out, I'm sure it won't be much of a problem.

Maybe you could have a family party for both of them so the whole family can celebrate and then take the older one out for a "special trip" to do something fun so he feels special too...but he may expect that every year...My sister and I were 5 years and 9 days apart. So we always had one big family party and then i would get to have a friends party...maybe that would work.

I don't think the one year old really needs a party.  You can celebrate his just family and have something big for your older son to make him feel special. Although, I will say my brother's birthday falls 6 days after mine and we had combined parties all the time; neither of us felt cheated.
