Im about to have my son on Tuesday and I have an inverted nipple. Im worried about getting him to latch on. I wonder if it would just be easier to exclusively pump?

I would talk with the lactation consultant at the hospital when you have your son. There are also nipple shields you can get that helps with baby latching on. I would try going the breastfeeding route first and see if that works for you. Get the consultants help and see what suggestions she may have once baby is born and see can see how baby is latching. Pumping is an option, but it takes twice as much time and energy to exclusively pump then it does if you can get baby to successfully breastfeed. That being said sometimes if baby is having a hard time latching on and both you and baby are getting frustrated it might be easier to exclusively pump. Go with what works best for both you and your baby as that is truly what matters. :)
