Breastfeeding 9 month old and pregnant

I recently found out I'm 6 weeks pregnant. I have a 9 month old who is exclusively breastfed. I have lost a significant amount of milk, and am now breastfeeding 3-4 times a night. I'm exhausted if I don't get adequate sleep. I have tried multiple different formula's and he wont take any of them nor will he take it from other people he knows. I'm just wondering if anyone else has experienced this and if there is a way at all to increase my milk? or if there is anything else I should trying, I'd really appreciate the advice.

Is your 9 month old eating a modified table food diet? Even though many women do breastfeed throughout a pregnancy then even tandem nurse two children; not every woman can manage to keep her supply. Just as not every mother is able to make enough milk for even her one infant. The hormones of early pregnancy can decrease your supply. Combine that with exhaustion and the demand on your body to provide for the fetus; and I am not surprised. Now what to do? I don't know if your going to be able to up your supply. Maybe try pumping and mixing your milk in to the formula so it at least tastes familiar? Make sure your caloric intake is adequate and that you are hydrated. Keep on offering the formula and a full variety of solids. Maybe a sippy cup will interest him enough to try to drink . if you can meet his nutritional needs, then you can nurse for comfort. Good Luck!
