I know this has been asked before and even I have asked it before but I am DESPARATE to find a way to work from home. I just can't stand the thought of leaving my baby to go back to work, especially since I worked nights in a factory. I know mothers do it every day, which is the argument I am getting from my partner but I want to do everything I can to stay with my daughter. We have been looking to move and we found a GORGEOUS house we want to buy but we need my second income. I am trying to start an in home daycare but have not had any luck so far. Can anyone help???

Quoting Bildia:

Maybe you can do sells form home.  It pays really well and you might be able to do it while baby is asleep.  There is a company who needs reps who sell advertising online and it is something that all businesses are looking for.  If you want to know more about it go to their website and find out how.

www.localaddlink.com

Also there are companies who hire moms who schedule flights from home like jetblue.  One of my friends has done that for a few years and they have really good benefits.  They even got to travel for free!

Good luck!  If you really feel that you have to stay home with your beautiful baby there will be a way to do it.

Do you have more info on the jetblue thing? I went to their website but can't figure out how to get info on how to work for them?

I say live without the GORGEOUS house to stay home with your baby.  A house sure won't matter in eternity, but the time you spend with your children certainly will.

I would have to go back anyway and we will have to move eventually anyway because where we are is pretty small. The reason I mantioned the house we might possibly buy is because to make a decision on whether to offer for it we need to know I'll be able to bring in some extra money for sure.

Ebay is a great way to make money. You sell your children's clothes, baby items, household things - anything really. Be sure you set your shipping cost high enough to cover it plus a little more for profit; ie $7.95 for a ladies blouse is not unreasonable. I started selling frosted cookie cutouts on ebay. They sold pretty well too! My husband & I also did the opposite shift thing for 5 years. I also sold Avon, Princess House Crystal, Tupperware but I was always my best customer so that didn't work to well for me. If you are disciplined you are already ahead of the game. Best wishes! Keep us posted.

Hey there!  I completely understand how you feel.  I have my own dayhome that I have been operating for about 7 years.  I did this so I could be at home with my own children.  Having a dayhome has many advantages, but it also has some disadvantages.  The biggest disadvantage for being a self-employed dayhome provider (depending on where you are located) is that because of the write-offs that you are allowed...you can pretty much write-off your income as well.  You might ask why this is a disadvantage??? Well, with writing off your income,  the gov't doesn't recognize it either.  So with trying to purchase a new home, most banks won't take your income into consideration.  They look at dayhome earnings as unstable income.  Other than that...I love doing what I do!

I have an in home daycare. When I started I went to moms clubs, little gym, music classes.. etc. After talking to some of the mothers for a little while I mentioned my business. It started out with having kids after kindergarten or in the afternoon. As the word got out I started getting phone calls for infants and toddlers for full day.

What I do for a price is call around to local daycares and ask if I sent my infant/toddler/school aged child there what do they charge and what do they supply. I then charged about 5 dollars less a day. I have the parents bring diapers, wipes, food, snacks... weekly. This way they don't have to bring it every morning so it is easily for them and for me.

It will work out if you keep at it. I wondered in the beginning if it was going to work out. It took some time and now I have turned away numerous families b/c I have all I can handle right now.

Best of luck I hope some of this info helps you to get started.

If there was a store where you could get all the necessary things you need to take care of your home and family on a daily basis (for instance, laundry products, cleaners, bath & body, dental care, makup, cough and cold medicines and other first aid products, plus much more) but this store cost less per use than what you are using now, worked better and faster that what you are using, were safer you and the environment and saved you time by being delivered right to your door, would you consider trying the products from that store? How about if that store offered an empty bottle money back garauntee? If you liked those products would you tell others? What if you could get paid every time someone you told shopped with that store? There is a place like this and I can tell you all the rest of the benefits on how you can shop there and save more money and earn a substantial residual income from home. Have you ever told someone about a sale or a restaurant or a good movie you had seen? I bet you never got paid for it much less earned and income month after month.

People just like you have overcome their financial problems and have been able to work from home and even bring their husband home as well. You have to be motivated and set aside time to work consistantly but it is a simple business plan anyone can duplicate and you have a team of individuals ready to help every step of the way too.

If this sounds like something you would like to know more about, I will be happy to tell you everything. Feel free to contact me directly at: 608-524-3441 or request information from my website: www.workathomeunited.com/mybiz

Good luck in your search!

Hi mom! If you enjoy working with children you could always work at any local church that has a pre school or pre kinder program! That way you and your little bundle could stay together and your making a little... if the good Lord gave you the desire in your heart to stay home he just hasnt revieled what he wants your extra income to be, but i bet he's working behind the scene for you

I WORK FOR A COMPANY CALLED PASSION PARTIES!

I MAKE MY OWN HOURS MU OWN TIME.

AND I CAN STILL BE HOME TO TAKE CARE OF MY 3 KIDS TILL MY HUSBAND COMES HOME NICE INCOME, DOESNT HURT TO CHECK IT OUT.

just let me know if you have ?'s

[deleted account]

I totally feel you. I refused to work if I had to put my kids in daycare. In my opinion I didn't have my kids for someone else to raise.

you can try the home sales there is one I am really interested in doing its called Blessings Unlimited its a Christian based group and I really love their stuff. But I homeschool and coach so I am afraid right now I would not have the time.

whatever one you choose the best thing to do before you sign up with any of them is book up to 10 shows Before signing on. that way you know you atleast have 10 shows already on the calendar and chances are if they have a special like sell so much your first month you get your starter kit free then of you have the first ten shows booked chances are you will meet that goal and then if its something you do not like you will not have lost any money.

Do you know what jet blue's web site would be for hiring new travel agents? And do you have to have experience or do they teach you?

You can always try a selling business from home like partylite candles, pampered chef etc. That way you can go out in the evenings or on weekend days to do shows when your hubby can stay home with the little one. I did that for awhile. Hope something inspires you. Take care.
