I was recently in an auto collision with my son. he was in an Evenflo seat and the back seat broke in the car, but his seat held up and he only walked away with a tiny bruise where the buckle was. Evenflo is a wonderful company to deal with in any situation and i will recommend their product to everyone.

I have the Graco MyRide 65 and really like it. I'm a big believer in extended rear-facing, as it's so much safer, and this seat allows me to keep my son rear-facing up until he's 40lbs.

It's a big beast, that's the only thing. But it's nice and solid and comfortable-looking (seriously, I wish my own driver's seat was that comfy!) The straps can be a bit of a pain to adjust when the seat is rear-facing, but you get used to it.

It's not difficult to move from car to car, as it has the LATCH straps.

Honestly, though, the Smart Seat looks freaking amazing. You only need one seat, from 5-100 lbs, and you never have to re-thread the harness? I'm sold!!! That's the one I'd get if I was doing it all over again.
