My son is 27 days to old. I've been exclusively B-feeding him. N once a while i will get clot. I use heat pack n super pressing the clots to clear it up.
Since yesterday morning i get a huge patch of clot on my left breast. I used the same method n it just wouldn't go away!! Till today afternoon.. my breast feels like its going to give way, with all the feeding/heat pack/pumping/pressing. My mom even help me to press the clot n nothing works!! I feel Sooooooo sore. Anyone faces the same problem before? Any solution? watever u can think of. Now i feel real miserable with this clot!! Help pls~

If you get the baby to nurse with his chin pointing toward the clot (you might have to kneel above him while he lies on the floor) it sometimes works. Keep an eye on yourself, if you start to feel sick or get a fever, you might be getting mastitis which can be serious and sometimes needs medical treatment because the clot gets infected.

If the baby will and you can stand it, get him to nurse as much as possible on the problem side. I had this once and after a day and a half finally my son managed to suck it out. What a relief! I hope you feel better soon.
