I am a little confused!
I am trying to figure out my ovulation dates, and am wondering if I count the first day of spotting or on the first day of actual bleeding. I hear conflicting stories on this. However I usually have spotting 3-4 days before my actual period begins, so how do I figure out when I actually ovulate?

I counted from the first day of real bleeding. That seemed to work for me...

Get an OPK (ovulation predictor kit). You can buy them at the local drug store and just pee on a stick. Get the 30 day pack so you can get a better feel for when you may ovulate.
